Originally from Amsterdam, Flora Sophi studied voice at the Conservatory of Amsterdam before spending several years in Berlin, where she recorded her first EP. Those two cities helped form her sound: the warmth and storytelling of songcraft, the freedom of jazz, and the shadowy pulse of electronic music.
Her debut album If/When brings those influences together through clear vocals, sinister synths, driving beats and cinematic spaces. It is music for quiet rooms, late nights and listeners who like to get lost in detail.
